One of the most common tasks when working with the PBSC bike share system is to create an operator user on the system in this case COMET. COMET provides a user-friendly interface that allows us to create different users using different roles. Please follow the instructions below to create a user on COMET:
1.- Log into COMET.
2.- Go to the "Management" module -> "Operator Management" -> "Operators".
3.- Click on the button "New Operator".
4.- That will display the "New Operator" which will require you to fill out some fields, the mandatory ones are: "Username", "First Name", "Last Name", "Email", "Preferred Language" and "Key Operation Type". If you don't know which value to select, leave the default one.
5.- You can set the password of the user manually by toggling on the "Set Password Manually" option and typing twice the password you've chosen.
Note: The password must be at least "Good".
6.- Click on the button "Next Step: Roles".
7.- Select the roles that you want to assign to the new user/operator from the list, remember to always use the principle of "Least Privilege".

8.- Finally click on the "Save New Operator" button, to create the new user.
